Ann Marie Grueser, 91, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home. She was born on July 11, 1925 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of Steven and Anna (Wall) Gergel.

Her parents, husband, Andrew Daniel Grueser, Jr., sister, Pauline Britt, and twin brother, Steven Gergel preceded her in death.

Ann was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Golden Club of St. Mary's, and Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary. Following graduation from North Union High School where she was a Majorette, she earned a Beauty Operator's License after graduating from Mason Frederick Beauty School, formerly located on Morgantown Street. She was a loving wife and homemaker most of her life.

Surviving is her sister, Elizabeth Holly of Uniontown, nieces and nephews, Barbara Holly, Tom Holly, James Britt, Michael Britt, Thomas Britt, and William Britt, and friend, Sister Annette Frey, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, September 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and Wednesday, September 28, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as celebrant.

Entombment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
