Obituary

Ann (Anna) Vivian (Kopacko) Granchi, 91, of Uniontown, PA, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at home. She was born on February 13, 1921 in New Salem, PA, daughter of John and Mary (Moros) Kopacko.

Ann was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, and widowed by Joseph Granchi. She was also preceded in death by their son, Joseph "Bill" Granchi, Jr.; five brothers, and three sisters.

Ann was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Norbert W. Granchi and his wife Diane of Sterling Heights, MI, and Michael G. Granchi and his wife Denise of Kalamazoo, MI; 3 grandchildren, Norbert, D. Granchi, Stacy M. Granchi, and Noreen Granchi, all of Michigan; 4 great grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis, Tyler, and Conner Granchi; and many nieces and nephews, and their families.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday and Monday, September 16 and 17, from 2-8 pm; and on Tuesday, September 18, until 9:30 am, when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3 pm.
