Andrew Robert "Bob" Clay, age 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away, at his home in Continental 2 on Monday April 15, 2013, He was born October 1, 1930, son of the late Stephen and Anna (Morganosky) Clay.
He was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., a 1948 graduate of Georges High School, also a lifetime member of the Continental 2 Rod and Gun Club and a long time member of the Issac Walton League.
Andrew was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors; he retired from Sears after 43 years of service and was a longtime driver for Parks moving and Storage of Uniontown, Pa.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Ronald S. Clay.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 61 years Irene Delores (Kolesar) Clay, sons Robert Clay and his wife Betty of New Geneva, Pa., Michael Clay and his wife Faye of Uniontown, Pa., eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, today from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, April 18, 2013 until 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery Uniontown, Pa.
The Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
