Alecia M. Evans' Obituary
Alecia Mae (Anderson) Evans, age 65, of Uniontown, died Saturday August 18, 2012 at The Cherry Tree Nursing home from battling cancer.
She was born on August 23, 1946, the daughter of Harry and Ann Anderson.
Alecia graduated in 1964 from North Union High School, she worked at Uniglobal Travel Horizon, as a travel Consultant, she was a loving wife, mother and cherished her granddaughter Madison and loved her dog Shylo and many wonderful friends she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law Dr. Judith Myer, Ph.D
Left to cherish her memory is her husband John Evans, daughter Lisa (Evans) Vinch and husband Sam Vinch Jr., granddaughter Madison Vinch, all of McClellandtown, Pa brother Rick B. Anderson and wife Sharon of Morgantown, WV., sisters-in-law Paula Bodnar and husband Jim of Uniontown, Barbara Pessy and husband John of Coraopolis, Pa., brothers-in-law Dan Evans of Uniontown, Mark Evans of Uniontown, and Henry Myer of California and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held, Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa.
