Alberta J. (Miscovich) Gasher, 75, of Hopwood, PA, formerly of Brook Park, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 21, 1940 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of Albert and Helen (Lemansky) Miscovich. Her parents, and husband William J. Gasher preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Uniontown High School Class of 1958, and was employed with Rockwell International until she married.

Alberta was a member of Mary, Queen of Apostles Church. She was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan, and enjoyed reading, gardening, and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are her children, William Albert Gasher and wife Patricia of Celina, OH; Susan Gabrielle Humbertson and husband Jerry of Bentleyville, PA; grandchildren, Olivia Gasher, Adalyn Gasher, Nicholas Humbertson, Andrew Humbertson; step-grandchildren, Christopher McChristian and Shawn Kane; a sister, Connie Quarrick of Uniontown, PA; and brothers, Norbert Miscovich and wife Mary Ellen of Marysville, OH, Vincent Miscovich and wife Donna of Uniontown, PA, Timothy Miscovich of Ashburn, VA; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Committal Prayers will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd., Brook Park, OH, on Monday, March 7, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Father James Stenger officiating. Interment will follow.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA, for local family and friends.
